3i SHOW

The 2021 3i SHOW, to be held March 18-20 at the Western State Bank Expo Center in Dodge City, KS, is an agricultural showcase drawing crop and livestock producers from across the High Plains.

In addition to the special events being planned, the 2021 3i SHOW will feature exhibits with the latest in irrigation, implements and industrial equipment, production advancements and innovations, and agricultural health.

OPENING CEREMONIES

American Legion Post #47 Honor Guard will Post the Colors as well as perform a gun salute honoring all veterans during the Opening Ceremonies Thursday, March 18 at 10 a.m. in the Special Events Arena on the dirt floor side of the WSBE.

ALL VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES ARE INVITED TO ATTEND. 

DEMONSTRATIONS

Blattner Feedlot Construction & Livestock Equipment – Blattner Feedlot is hosting on-demand demonstrations of their 110 and 220 Hydraulic Squeeze Chutes as well as “The Duke” Portable Wheel Corral. The on-demand demonstrations will take place in their booth spaces I-373 – 378!

Fairbank Equipment – Fairbank Equipment will be hosting on-demand demonstrations of the SureFire QuickDraw 3000 Trailer in exhibit spaces I-247 – 251 on the concrete side of the expo center. SureFire was focused on keeping you spray spraying when it released QuickDraw back in 2014. Six years and thousands of batches later, QuickDraw 3000 has new features to make mixing and loading your sprayer even easier!

Fairbank will also be showcasing the Brehmer Overhead Discharge Truck Mount Fertilizer Tender! Built with the highest quality standards, Brehmer’s truck mount fertilizer tender features a 270-degree rotation auger system, EZ Slide Gate system, a max unloading capacity of 3500-4000 lbs/min, and MUCH MORE!

Hustler Turf Equipment/Big Dog Mowers – Hustler Turf/Big Dog will be offering demonstrations of their residential/commercial zero-turn mowers in the outside Demonstration Area. Attendees can visit them inside in exhibit spaces I-132-135, I-407-410.

Victory Electric/Pioneer Electric/Wheatland Electric – Victory Electric Cooperative, along with Pioneer Electric Cooperative and Wheatland Electric Cooperative, is hosting daily electric safety demonstrations in space I-447 on the dirt floor side of the expo center!

Demonstrations will take place at the following times:
Friday & Saturday – 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m., & 3 p.m.

Featuring live, high-voltage, true-to-life series of flashes, flames, sizzles, and smoke, the demonstration is designed to teach attendees of all ages about electricity, electrical safety, and lightning safety.

9:00 a.m. – 3i Gun Show – The gun show will be held in the southern half of the Western State Bank Expo Center and will consist of gun vendors and private party gun enthusiasts that carry a variety of lawful handguns, rifles, shotguns, collectibles, antique weapons, and other related firearms/weapons accessories.

FRIDAY, MARCH 19

SATURDAY, MARCH 20

9:00 a.m. – 3i Gun Show – The gun show will be held in the southern half of the Western State Bank Expo Center and will consist of gun vendors and private party gun enthusiasts that carry a variety of lawful handguns, rifles, shotguns, collectibles, antique weapons, and other related firearms/weapons accessories.

10:00 a.m. – Horseshoe Tournament hosted by KHPA – The Kansas Horseshoe Pitchers Association will host a sanctioned tournament on the southeast portion on the dirt floor side of the WSBE. Interested participants can contact Jim Newboles at (620) 694-9463 to reserve their spot.

KHPA will also be hosting smaller events all three days. No matter the skill level, attendees can participate in pitch offs, a small non-sanctioned tournament, and a dollar pitch where whoever has the most point within the hour wins the pot! Multiple NHPA regulation portable courts will be set up meaning those not interested in the events can try their hand at pitching.

10:00 a.m. – Legislative Coffee – Join us for the first “Legislative Coffee” of the year in the Presentation Area! Area residents have the opportunity to meet Newly elected U.S. Senator Ron Ryckman Sr. will briefly introduce himself to area residents. Representatives from the Office of U.S. Senator Jerry Moran and the Office of U.S. Congressman Tracey Mann will also be on site.

1:30 p.m. – Bull Sale – Sutphin Cattle Co. will host the first-ever bull sale at the 3i SHOW on Saturday, March 20, in the Special Events Arena at the Western State Bank Expo Center. The sale will feature 30 two-year-old bulls with five different breeds including Charolais, Red Angus, Angus, Sim Angus, and Lim-Flex. Bulls will be on display all three days of the show and all bulls have been trich and fertility tested.

Each year, exhibitors have many GREAT giveaways! Registrations are taken all 3 days up until the time of the drawings, which will all be held on SATURDAY, MARCH 20.

2:00 p.m. – Medicare Educational Seminar – Steve Henry, Liberty Senior Benefits, will inform attendees on how they can get more benefits out of Medicare and how they can save money on prescription medication!

Henry will also explain the major differences between Medicare plans and how attendees can compare plans at home. Invitational Flyer.

FRIDAY, MARCH 19

3:00 p.m. – “Untangling the Confusion Surrounding Kansas Agricultural Leases” – Ty Patton, General Counsel & Auctioneer at McCurdy Auction, will educate attendees on the hidden ins-and-outs of Kansas agricultural leases. With over half of Kansas farmland or pastureland rented, many leases are unwritten or verbal.

Patton will explain how this can sometimes pose an issue for landowners when they prepare to sell their real estate if they aren’t familiar with the unique aspects of Kansas landlord tenant law as it applies to farm and pasture leases.

SATURDAY, MARCH 20
